that's a wrap.

![]() This is the part when I say I voted for Trump. This is also the part when I tell you who should really be in the White House. Stick with me. I'm a Christian, which means, when voting, I chose the person who most accurately lined up with what I know to be true. This includes my soapbox... abortion. Hillary Clinton lost me the minute she said she would never overturn Roe v. Wade. The minute she said a child's life has no value in the womb. That is 100% unacceptable to me as... A woman. A Christian. A human being. Abortion makes me angry and sad and completely disappointed in what we've become. While it may seem petty to many of you, that is my top deal breaking issue. Sure, I care about immigration and taxes and the Supreme Court, but when you stand on a stage or in front of a camera and say you're for children I expect you to be for them whether or not they're standing in your audience with an "I'm with her" sign. Last week I was sitting in my living room with a Bible on my lap praying I was part of the majority. Praying that the people of America would make a history-making and game-changing decision to elect a man many said would never make it to the top. I watched the news and listened to them tell me Hillary Clinton would be dubbed Madame President on November 8th all while believing for a completely different outcome. The truth is, I'm in the minority of many people I love and care about deeply. Many of my friends were with her. Many of my friends were just simply against him. That does not in ANY WAY make me love them less. It does not make me want to alienate them from my life. How can I live my life with the Bible in one hand and a wagging finger in the other shooing away every person who disagrees with me. That doesn't happen, at least not for me. This post, despite what it seems right now, is not meant to be a political post. It's meant to say that I don't want Donald Trump in the White House. I want Jesus in the White House. I want the love and mercy of Christ our Savior in the Oval Office. I want prayer in the Supreme Court. I want decisions to be based on "What would Jesus do?" instead of "What do we get out of this?" I want people to understand that differences don't have to create division. That the lesser of us don't have to be neglected. Jesus chose the outcasts, the unworthy, and the forgotten to by the people who walked by His side every step of the way. So, you voted for Trump... I'll pray for you. So, you voted for Hillary... I'll pray for you. So, you voted for Johnson... I'll pray for you. So, you didn't vote at all... I'll pray for you. I'm not with her or him. I'm with HIM. The King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords. The one who made all things and can make all things great again.
