Lately I've been thinking a lot about dreams. I normally have the occasional thought here and there about what I want to be or what I want to accomplish, but since the Global Media Summit, my mind's been overwhelmed.
I'm finally at the point where I can see my dreams coming true. The experience is tangible and I'm left pinching myself and praying it's all real. I had the privilege of listening to author and founder of GodTV, Wendy Alec, speak at the Global Media Summit. She said that media is fierce and to be successful you pretty much have to give up everything. But the words that stopped me in my tracks were: "This is not a game." This "media thing" isn't just something we do or that we enjoy. This is our life. We've been commissioned to spend hours on our computers editing and writing and rewriting and posting. We've chosen to put on the Armor of God and enter this field where we could get slaughtered. A field where we have so much power to reach the masses that Satan waits for the perfect opportunity to tear us down. Before leaving for the summit, he almost had Positive Note Network. We were flat on our faces trying to figure out how in the world things had gone so wrong. He was attacking us in every direction as a unit and individually. We were ready to quit, but that's when something brilliant happened: We met people who understood. We met people willing to stand with us in prayer when things are going great and when things are falling apart. And we're willing to do the same for them. Since leaving the Global Media Summit, I have felt like a new person. I want to type and edit and film and push this business as far as God will let it go. I want to optimize our social media and publish relevant content. And the best part? I'm not alone. I'll talk to you soon, readers. Remember that you're beautiful and talented and awesome and, as my soul sister, Gaye Lindfors would say: "You are significant." Love you all. xoxo, Jenni
