that's a wrap.
- just a girl trying to figure it out, and that's a wrap. -
6:15 AM.
Too early for both of us. I'm shuffling around with half-closed eyes and I catch a glimpse of her in the chair. "Are you already ready?" I ask. With two cats and a dog in her lap she turns to me and nods. She's been up since 5:00 AM and has been sitting here, in the living room, for almost half an hour. I sit on the other living room chair and we rest without conversation. The local news is droning on in the background of our morning and we wait. She sits quietly stroking the dog. I cuddle up under a blanket and close my eyes. From my position in the chair I hear him. He forcefully flicks the light-switch and illuminates the room. He adds a soundtrack to the morning with the half-slamming of cabinet doors. "I'm just going to walk." He says gruffly. And with that he takes off for work leaving us sitting in the living room both thinking the same thing... here we go again.

I'm not sure it's what you intended, but this seems quite ominous. Two women being early morning quiet while an angry male slams around the house and eventually leaves. "Here we go again" could mean lots of things.
