Joanie  &  Jenni  Beaver

If one or both of us is chosen, we will use our creative passion to brand 368.

Joanie is the mother half of our mother-daughter duo. She's a photographer known for her ability to capture beautiful candids and make just about anything look interesting and inspiring.
As a breast cancer survivor, she knows that life is far too short and fragile not to take risks and live every moment. So she uses that to fuel her passion for travel and storytelling. Whether it's showcasing the best parts of a brand or capturing the greatest day of someone's life, she's a storyteller through and through.
She's perfect for this 368 and Adobe opportunity because she has the ability to see the whole picture. Her creative mind knows no bounds and her top priority is to capture the best parts of the person or brand she's working with. I know she'll take the concept of 368 and help create beautiful visuals to share with the world.
Since she works with her daughter (me!) all day every day, she's no stranger to being a team player. She never runs out of ideas, but she's also the first person to cheer others on. As an individual she's creative and ambitious and when she joins a team those qualities are added to her ability to make everyone feel special and heard.

Jenni.

I'm Jenni, the daughter part of the mother-daughter duo. I could tell you I'm a videographer or a writer or a photographer and any or all of them would be true. However, I think the best way to describe who I am and what I do is: storyteller. I love photography, writing and videography (especially videography and editing!) but I'm always driven by the story.
It could be the story of a veteran who lost his sight and hearing by serving our country and now dedicates his time to making delicious chocolate with his wife. It could be the story of a young woman with autism who couldn't get a job after high school so she decided to start her own business selling tie-dyed goods. Or maybe it's the story of a retired nurse who found a passion for tea and now harvests and roasts her own. All three of those stories are true and ones I've told along with many others. The bottom line is that I love media and I love working with video, photos and writing but I also love people and brands and learning who they are or what they stand for. I love 368 and I would love to be part of telling that story to the world.
I've tried to showcase a wide variety of my skills through this portfolio and I hope you see my passion and heart in every piece. I also hope you give me this incredible opportunity.

Click on the photos to see which one of us took them. All of the videos were filmed and edited by Jenni.

Jenni edited all of these videos, but this is an example of how she was able to take a year's worth of videos and turn them into one cohesive story.
A video we did for our web show 'Life on a Positive Note' now called Trippin' with Joanie and Jenni B.
A comped trip we took (also for LOAPN) to swim with manatees!
A promo video we did for a local condo.
A wedding video and great example of our storytelling.
Another video example of our storytelling and passion for others and their journeys.
